The Hall Family continues to bless us with their culinary contribution known as The American Restaurant. But during the holidays, it’s their view of the ice-skating rink and the Mayor’s Christmas tree, coupled with the Kansas City skyline that will make any party at the restaurant sparkle. There are four private or semi-private party areas inside The American: The Upper Dining Room is the largest private area, Window Balcony is next, followed by the Wine Room . . .finally you can rent the entire restaurant which seats 350 people for your biggest events. Sadly, when owner and Chef, John McClure, passed away a few months ago, no one was certain if Starker’s Restaurant would continue to operate.
